To pick up a local souvenirs head to the beachfront and browse the small local shops or take a tuk-tuk to Hup Kapong village for locally produced handicrafts. There is also a market near the train station in Cha-am where you experience the local culture and pick up some tasty snacks, clothes or DVDs.
